Tuesday, November 10  |  7-9pm at the UCSD Cross-Cultural Center Library

Kamalayan Kollective presents an Aralan (teach-in) about Justice for Filipino American Veterans.

For over the last 62 years Filipino World War II Veterans in the United States and the Philippines have been fighting for their rights to their benefits. Please join us as we engage ourselves in learning more about this injustice, and how we can fight for justice with the Veteranos and other peoples that this has impacted.

It is essential that we all come together as a community to learn more about this, especially in a time where policies are changing. Please come out and educate yourselves about the new policy changes or just find out more about our veterans if you don’t already know about it.

This is especially important that we learn, dialogue, heal and grow as a community so we can promote education and empowerment in our youth and young adult communities. This event welcomes ALL communities! Please come out to learn and grow in solidarity!
